Volcano lakes killed more than 80 houses

An official has informed that more than 80 homes have been destroyed by the lava flowing four weeks after the eruption of the Kailua volcano in Hawaii. Hawley Civil Defense spokesman Talmed Mango said that at least 87 houses were reported to be destroyed due to the lava coming out of the volcano.

CNN told the civilian defense agency that after issuing reports of damage to homes, orders were issued to evacuate a portion of Lilani Estates subdivision between the growing lava explosion on Thursday night.

Local residents were advised to vacate houses till Friday afternoon. There is no plan to save anyone from the areas which have been evacuated after the deadline of the emergency service deadline.

Four weeks after the first explosion in the Hawawi volcano, the lava is still flowing out of it.

US Geological Survey (USGS) said that the quaila volcano lava has spread over 5.5 square miles, it is four times bigger than New York's Central Park.
